# FileFly — Cross-platform file transfer, instantly

> FileFly transfers files across Windows, macOS and Linux over your local network — no cloud, no accounts, no size limits.

FileFly is a free, cross-platform file transfer application for Windows, macOS,
and Linux that moves files directly between devices on the same Wi-Fi or local
network (LAN). Transfers are
peer-to-peer — there is no cloud, no relay server, no account, and no file-size
limit — so files move as fast as your network hardware allows. Every transfer is
consent-based: the receiving device must approve it. FileFly collects no user
data or telemetry. It listens on port 23013 for device discovery and transfers,
and is available in 10 languages.
